Will Patton

Will is one of E11 Bio’s Machine Learning Scientists. He has a broad background in image processing and machine learning with a focus on developing well documented, tested, and distributed code. Before starting at E11, Will worked at the Janelia Research Campus and provided Machine Learning software engineering support as an independent contractor. He has contributed significantly to the development of gunpowder, daisy and volara, three libraries that simplify the training and application of machine learning models on large microscopy volumes, and is passionate about making scientific code easily usable and accessible.
